Introducing Scentex to our New York Neighbors

While we’ve spent some time getting settled into our east coast digs at the iconic TwoFortyThirty, we haven’t had the opportunity to really introduce ourselves and what we do to our neighbors. And what better way to do that than with a party?
We called up a few of our friends and put together an invite list of NYC’s event industry community luminaries: from florists and photographers, corporate baddies and destination management company reps, to wedding planners and their elbows may not normally rub, but we wanted to share with them
We made our list, we put on our party clothes.
Venue, menu, drinks, lighting, music, decor, and of course, scent — check!
Upon entering the foyer, guests were guided to the third floor to experience our Interactive Diffuser Station firsthand.
The Scentex Interactive Diffuser Station is a completely unique, educational, and hands-on event experience that truly elevates any event, whether it is a wedding or corporate engagement. Our team guides guests through scents, only described as “top”, “middle”, and “base”, prompting an emotional reaction, relying on personal scent memory.
We blend these notes together, creating a custom fragrance, and present to guests in a beautiful glass reed diffuser to be used at home. Identifying names of the scents will be sent in a follow up to the guest after the event.
Guests, including Hank Stampfl, owner of Revel Rouge and Sonal J Shah, owner of Shanal Shah Event Consultants sipped on custom cocktails, Scent 33 (a nod to Santal 33 by Lobo) and Scentex No. 5 (Chanel No. 5, of course), and enjoyed nibbles, both from Delivering Experiences.
